“No country is ever successful in the long term without a really strong and vibrant manufacturing base.”
-Alan Mulally, CEO Ford Motor Company 2006-2014
The Christmas Tree Challenge activity is a manufacturing activity focused on the holidays! Can you manufacture a Christmas Tree from plastic cups? This activity sparks imagination and teamwork and is a great way to develop fine motor skills and spatial awareness.
This activity is one of our favorites and brings a fun activity for the holidays while also providing:
Educational Value: Building a cup Christmas tree helps children practice engineering skills, balance and coordination.
Creative Expression: Children use their imaginations for the development and decorating
Teamwork and Social Skills: Completing this in a group setting encourages teamwork and communication for completing the activity together.
Completing the Christmas Tree Challenge Activity is an opportunity for children to engage in creative play, learn new skills and make a new holiday memory with family and friends.
